Beep, Beep, Beep...

It doesn’t matter why I was there, where the air is sterile and the sheets sting
It doesn’t matter that I was holding heavy water weights within the lids of my eyes
Doesn’t matter that I was yearning for you, or that your soul was trapped in a cage of endless torment
It doesn’t matter because, my sweet baby girl, you’re going to meet your father in the clouds soon

This was a beautiful telling of watching someone you love go to paradise, having been in that room too many times for my liking. I love this.
I have written this response 3 times now. Each time a little different, never losing the feeling of heartache. The deep feelings and unique stories that I come up with to fill in the purposeful gaps feel too real. This is exquisite.
